Individual Music Therapy

INDIVIDUAL MUSIC THERAPY

One-on-one services that provide  individualized attention with a focus on personal musical preferences and areas of growth

What does it look like?

Our individual music therapy services are provided by our board-certified and licensed music therapist. Upon starting services, an initial assessment will be conducted, which will identify your loved ones areas of growth. Once the assessment is completed, you will receive a customized treatment plan for your loved one and be scheduled for a weekly appointment. Treatment notes will be taken for every session, and at the end of six months, an evaluation session will be conducted to assess progress.

Session may include: learning to play instruments, singing songs, songwriting, improvisation and more! All this happens in the context of a therapeutic relationship with the client's preferred musical interest. Due to the motivating nature of musical intervention, your loved one will be working on areas like social skills, communication, and motor skills without even realizing it.
